Welcome

Dear Colleagues and Friends,

On behalf of the organizing and scientific committees, it is our great pleasure to welcome you to the 4th Joint World Congress of the European Society for Clinical Hemorheology and Microcirculation, International Society for Clinical Hemorheology, and International Society of Biorheology, taking place in Los Angeles.

This unique joint congress brings together three leading international societies with a shared commitment to advancing research, clinical practice, and innovation in hemorheology, microcirculation, and biorheology. By uniting our global communities in the dynamic and diverse setting of Los Angeles, we create a powerful platform for interdisciplinary exchange, collaboration, and discovery.

The scientific program has been designed to reflect the breadth and depth of our fields—from fundamental cellular and molecular mechanisms to translational research and clinical applications. Through keynote lectures, symposia, oral and poster sessions, and dedicated events for early-career investigators, we aim to foster meaningful dialogue and inspire new ideas that will shape the future of vascular and rheological science.

Beyond the formal sessions, this Congress offers invaluable opportunities to reconnect with colleagues, establish new partnerships, and strengthen international collaborations. Set against the vibrant cultural and scientific landscape of Southern California, the meeting provides an ideal environment for both professional engagement and collegial exchange. It is through these interactions that our community continues to grow and make lasting contributions to global health.

We are equally excited to host you in one of the world’s most iconic destinations. From the legendary Hollywood Sign and the historic Griffith Observatory to the star-studded sidewalks of Hollywood Walk of Fame, Los Angeles offers a unique blend of culture, entertainment, and history. Attendees can unwind along the scenic shores of Santa Monica Pier, explore world-class collections at The Getty Center, or enjoy the city’s renowned culinary scene, shaped by its rich international diversity. With its warm climate, beautiful coastline, and dynamic arts and technology communities, Los Angeles provides an inspiring backdrop for both scientific exchange and memorable experiences.

We are delighted to welcome researchers, clinicians, students, and industry partners from around the world to Los Angeles. Your participation is what makes this Congress truly exceptional.

We look forward to an engaging, inspiring, and productive meeting together.

With warm regards,

The Congress Organizing Committee
